Ebay has asked me to set up reimbursement payment method.
but its asking for credit card details - my automatic payment is set up to paypal how to I make reimbursement payment method paypal too?????????

It could be a glitch but it could also be the latest 'thing' that ebay are reminding people about. Ebay work on monthly cycles, the 18-20th seem to be when they start doing things, like sending 'you need to upgrade to business' emails- maybe this months 'thing' is reminding sellers they must have a card registered.
For the last two months at around this time we've had nothing but threads here , and on the community boards about sellers being restricted due to poor seller metrics- so maybe they are bored of that and have moved onto cards.
