Jack Wills Website Error....Help needed please.

Hi, I have never posted on one of these before....but I’m looking for advice/help with regards to a problem I now seem to have with Jack wills.

Yesterday lunch time i looked on the jack wills website to purchase a hoodie for myself, i noticed that on the website there were no prices listed for any of the items at first I thought this was a new page layout maybe and the prices would only appear once the order was finalised.....I then clicked on the proceed to checkout link and found that the hoodie was listed as £0.00.....so i decided to go back and add a few more hoodies to my shopping list only to find that they also came up as £0.00  out of curiosity I proceeded to the check out, entered in my bank details, delivery details and then got an email (receipt) which stated that my total order was £4.00 and this was only for postage and packing.

I couldn’t quiet believe it.....what’s the saying something that’s to good to be true probably is?? any way...I received an email last night at 7pm saying that there was an error in my order and i needed to ring up and re-place the order. I rang up jack wills this morning to replace my order of 4 hoodies and a gilet at £4.00 and they laughed me off the phone. Yes I am a student, and I’m looking for a bargain and this was mental but i feel like something isn’t right.

Basically I was wondering is there anything I can do or say to jack wills to actually get this order processed like it should have been rather than them cancelling it due to their internet error??

Hope someone can help me or offer advice.....Thanks, Laura.

No it was an error - They have noticed it before dispatch and informed you of the correct price which is the right thing you can do.

You can either pay the correct price or cancel and receive and monies paid back.

It would be nice to have a load of hoodies for 4 quid but sadly it cant happen in this case. It will be in their terms and conditions where it will say something like the contract is formed on dispatch.

You made your offer, they rejected it.

You tried to take advantage of an obvious error fair play, it didn't work, now move on.
    ACCEPTANCE OF YOUR ORDER

Once you have made your choice and your order has been placed, you will receive an email acknowledging the details of your order. This email is NOT an acceptance of your order. Unless you cancel your order, acceptance of your order and completion of the contract between you and Jack Wills will be perfected when we despatch the goods to you. The sale contract is therefore concluded in London, England and the language of the contract is English.
We reserve the right not to accept your order in the event, for example, that we are unable to obtain authorisation for payment, that shipping restrictions apply to a particular item, that the item ordered is out of stock or does not satisfy our quality control standards and is withdrawn, or that you do not meet the eligibility criteria set-out above.
Furthermore, we may refuse to process a transaction for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion. We will not be liable to you or any third party by reason of our withdrawing any merchandise from the Site whether or not that merchandise has been sold; removing, screening or editing any materials or content on the Site; refusing to process a transaction or unwinding or suspending any transaction after processing has begun.
