New Ipod Touch

Hi Guys,

I'm thinking of buying the new Ipod touch after (accidently) drowning mine in a pool of orange squash.

Just have a couple of questions for anyone who has one, is the newer model any different from the last one ( I think the last was the 4th gen)?

How many songs can you really store on the 64gb? I used to have 32gb and I never filled it but was over half my storage, would it be best to go for the 64 just in case?

Any help would be appreciated :)

the one for sale currently IS the 4th generation. the only difference is that it may have IOS5 installed from the start depending in when it is manufactured. there are no extra specs or features since the 4g came out a year or so ago.
if your current 32gb is half full (16gb give or take) then assume that a 64 gb will allow 4 times as many songs as you have now !
other content (apps, photos, video, ios) will always bring it down of course.

whether you will fill it or not depends on what content you plan on adding in future and how long you are going to hang on to it before upgrading.

despite its sticky demise - your OJ flavoured broken one will probably still earn you some cash on ebay that you can use towards the cost of a new one - mine did after my son threw it in the bath !
