Can you claim it if you have resigned from your job?

    You need to claim JSA it would then be down to a decision maker as to whether you get anything or not due to you resigning from your previous employment.
    I made a mistake once, believeing people on the internet were my virtual friends. It won't be a mistake that I make again!

    No. They could be sanctioned for 26 weeks but it is up to a DM to make that decision. The OP is better off and claiming JSA straight away.

  • Yes, but unless you can show a good reason why you resigned you may be sanctioned for a number of weeks.
    A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.
