writing a article for wikipedia

Hello. I want to write an article for a site for wikipedia. I want it to be a suprise and i do have permission for images etc...

Go ahead - best to register yourself - it make your entries more likely to be kept.

The system takes a bit of getting used to, but there's lots of help on it. Just be aware, you might create your article and then find that a week later somebody's completely changed it!

I could do with a little more help. The page explains a lot but not what i need. Can i create the article in word and copy and paste it up. If so where about do i do it?

Any formatting in Word would be lost when you paste it - you're much better using Notepad or a more powerful pure text editor. Textpad would be my recommendation - https://www.textpad.com
