Tesco - Changing rooms

Called in tonight to tesco with my DD1, she saw a top that she liked, we went to the changing rooms so that she could try it on, but they were locked. Found a staff member but you are not allowed to use the changing rooms between 2000 - 0800 hrs
What a strange policy, what do they think you can do between those hours
Did not buy top.

It does seem rather early to shut the changing rooms however I can sort of understand that there wont be as many staff on at night and they probably have higher incidences of theft at night?Weight Loss - 102lb0

I imagine they have to staff the changing rooms and as such they cannot justify having somebody to staff it throughout the night0

To be fair they have a pretty lenient changing policy, I never try anything on in Tesco, if it doesn't feel right when I get it home I just take it back for a refund.0

Yes I agree they have a pretty good exchange policy, but the tesco store is 12 miles from our house which makes it a pain to return stuff - trouble with living in the country, plus DD1 is 13 so I have to take advantage of her liking something

Why not buy it, try it on in their toilets, and then return it if it's not right?0

If anything happened, it would bring a whole new meaning to soiled produce! Bets to take it home and take it back under their returns policy.Don't bother trying to sue me - I've got no money!0
