NICE in April

I am all booked for Nice in April for 5 nights. Any recommendaitons for good days out, hiking etc., would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Sally,if you like hiking and you have use of a car,head inland from Cagnes-sur-mer heading towards La Gaude and you will see a huge rock face called Saint Jeanett (sp?) takes about 3 hours to walk up to the top,but views are lovely,you are surrounded by wild hebs de provence and the smell incredible.
Heading towards Monaco on the Grande corniche,there is another lovely mountain top called the 'tete du chien' it's a bit hairy standing on the edge,but worth the view over Monaco and Monte carlo,when you watch the grand prix on telly you can see this point with loads of people getting a free view!
Worth a trip would also be Ventimiglia market just over the border in Italy,market is on a Friday and massive,you can get the train from Nice station straight to Ventimiglia,takes about an hour.
Saint Paul de vence is a lovely walled village in the hills behind Villeneuve Loubet,well worth a trip in the evening when all lit up.
Forgot to say,a must is a night in Juan Les Pins,all the rich and famous hang out there,aswell as the ports of Cannes and Antibes.
