Who investigates a Solicitor?

I am still waiting for the Legal Ombudsman to review my case but they cannot consider hardly any of the well documented undisputable evidence. It is a medical negligence case but they have told me they are not qualified to look at anything of a medical nature and neither can they dispute anything said by a legal professional. Who is qualified to look at complaints about a Solicitor?
The evidence is so clear I know anyone looking at it will find in my favour. I had to use this Solicitor because my insurance company (home insurance) insisted they would appoint a specialist on my behalf. The solicitors have already admitted my case was not handled by a specialist clinical negilgence Solicitor as agreed.

I'm guessing you've already invoked the firm's complaints procedure? If you don't get anywhere with the ombudsmen try contacting the Solicitors Regulation Authority. There's also a website along the lines of "Solicitors from hell" where you can post your story up to raise awareness of the alleged negligence. good luck!0

If your case is as good as you say, then there are no win no fee firms who will help you claim against a a solicitor. Google complaints against solicitors.0

If your insurer's appointed them you can also complain to your insurer and if they do not resolve the complaint then take it to the Financial Ombudsman Service.
To be honest however, all ombudsman services take forever to deal with even the most simple of complaints.0 -
Thank you for your advice. I do have a Solicitor who is willing to take on my case on a no win no fee but the original Solicitor's medical "expert" made such a hash of his review that I have to overturn his report before my new Solicitor can get the insurance cover he needs to take on my case. I have a letter from the Chief Executive of my Health Authority proving the original report is wrong (and plenty of other evidence).
I had a look at "Solicitors from Hell" and guess what, my original Solicitors must have more mentions than anyone else.
I still find it incomprehensible that the Legal Ombudsman have told me they are not legally qualified to question the advice of a legal professional. Example the "expert" says an appointment was made. The Chief Executive, Head of A&E and a para legal at the Solicitors all say an appointment was not made and hence there is no record of an appointment in my notes. Yet the LOB say they are not qualified to comment on this and therefore cannot consider this evidence.
Next step SRA.
Thanks again0 -
Sorry Quentin. I missed your point and was only thinking about getting my original complaint back on track. Very good idea I shall do as you say. I have a very large list of contradictictions / "mistakes" and lies all documented.0

This problem does not only occur within the USA: International companies that expand into Europe for example, often underestimate the different laws in the individual states. What is allowed in Germany and France does not apply to Italy or Turkey. Companies should hire professional consultants before there are investigations or even convictions in a country. The additional damage to the corporate image can barely be fixed; especially in the network marketing industry where the allegation of illegality is already enough to stay away from a business. Even if it is absolutely reputable and only got into this situation due to the launch in a new country. Thus, the investment in a professional consultant would be worthwhile in any case.0
