Need a family car...advice and suggestions please?!

Options
Having had our 2nd child we need to upgrade our Citroen C4!!

We had been lookin at a C-MAX however found out that majority do not include isofix, a must have safety feature for us.

We need something with a big boot, take a Phil & Teds Double Buggy plus extras.

We have also seen the Scenic and C4 Picasso but just can't choose and don't know a lot about family cars, so any advice would be gratefully recieved!!

Thanks for reading...

What's wrong with a standard estate? Skoda octivia has a big boot for the size of car, or bigger go for Ford Mondeo. Both will drive better than a French mini mini bus.
  • You don't need the size of a C-Max or seating for 7 do you ?

Any regular 4 door 4/5 seater should suffice. If so, there are thousands to choose from.

Still really want one of these - never driven, been in or even seen inside one in real life. Just want one, a HEMI please! Pretty cheap now too compared to the 5 series et al of the same age

I can thoroughly recommend them. Go for an SRT variant (bigger wheels, sports suspension and interior) if you like to press on.

I'm considering one of those as my plan B if my toyota IQ doesn't work out when the baby arrives in Feb.

I'd almost consider getting a diesel... almost. (shudder)

Or stick with the v8 ;)
