Buyer not paid......

As the title suggests last Tuesday I sold an item for £13.03. The buyer has not made any communication or payment to us. I have sent 2 invoices and messages to ask when they are going to pay. I have heard nothing. It will be 7 days tomorrow.
How long do you wait before you offer a second chance or relist the item?
Many thanks.x

If you go to my eBay, next to the sold item bit is a button which says something along the lines of my buyer didn't pay, if it's not there it's in the more actions button just underneath it, then wait four days and the buyer will either pay or after exactly four days you can close it and reclaim your fees and the second chance offer it.0

Thank you, have just opened a no payer 'thing'. They have until the 21st to pay and then I can close and second chance/relist.0

Buyer has just emailed me saying:
"Hello
Sorry to be a pain but my daughter placed the bid on this item. We won't be buying it I'm affraid. Not sure what the process is.
Thanks"
Don't believe the excuses above but what can I do? I have closed the case and will relist. Shame i can't leave a neg feedback for timewasting. At the end of the day I was selling a Peppa Pig bundle of toys and doubt very much a child that young would bid on ebay, especially unsupervised!!0 -

If you just closed the case within the 4 days then you have lost your final value fees and your relisting credit.
personally I would have left it open until day 4 and then closed it to reclaim my fees, as it stands buyer has walked away scot free from this and can go and keep doing it. If you had waited and given them a strike they would be one step closer to effectively banning themselves from being able to bid again.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Same, always wait 4 days before closing and give the buyer a strike and get back your fees0
