3 year old cooker burnt out

My Beko Cooker decided to burn out on me yesterday half way through cooking dinner. It's 3 years old.

I phoned up about getting it repaired and it'll cost £128 or if they can't fix it £50. It's annoying as we've not had it that long.

Does anyone know if there anything I can do, is it worth contacting Beko? Or shall I just cut my losses and buy a new one?

Thanks for your advice

Donna

Well my Candy oven door exploded. It was round about 3 years old. I had a 5 year guarantee but only for parts - and labour was going to be expensive. In the end I claimed on my insurance (buildings as it was 'built in'). They paid for a whole new oven.
