hi,
planning on going to corsica for the first time this summer, not too bothered where we go as i think most if not all is lovely but i am bothered how i get there!!!!
has anyone been there and can recommend a route......was thinking of driving/ferry but seems a long haul journey with 3 children(10,12,14) although we have driven at least half-way down france before with an overnighter. can anyone in particular recommend a ferry/route. no accom booked as yet but i`m looking!
when u take in ferry costs/tolls/petrol/2 overnighters i`m thinking flights may not be so expensive afterall but of course we wouldn`t have to hire a car.
thanks guys,

Hi there,Corsica is lovely and if you go I'm sure you will love it.I know there is a ferry service from Nice in the south of france, but it is a very long drive,I think as you say, with the tolls, fuel and ferries,I think it would work out cheaper to fly and hire a car when you get there,my favourite place was Calvi, gorgeous bay with a lovely beach and fantastic horse riding in the maquis.Debt at highest £102k
