They say on the site that they don't keep the card details and that if they need to make a refund, they will need to call for the card details.

If this is true, then I don't see how they can process a 2nd payment.

If they do come through, IMO it would bode very well for the company in the fact that a lot of the people that have ordered would be impressed and therefore use them again.

Other companies that have honoured glitches, such as ASOS are looked favourably on. Others that cancel stating the truth, fair enough, those that lie about cancellations-I wouldn't use as it doesn't give a good impression of their customer relations policies or tactics.

Wouldnt have thought someone like Fortnum and Mason wouldlike to have the adverse publicity personally so would probably honour the glitch
