There are no reviews but my daughter has set her heart on a dolls house and it would make it worth getting up for as there were loads stacked up at my local sainsbury today...

whats the minimum amount of money you would go to the sale with? been trying to sell things all day to make some pennies to take! looking like im going to have around £30.... :/

    £100 - I have 4 kids and countless nephews/nieces.
My local opens at 6 a.m. so not getting up for anything less!

Looking for 8 year old boys toys particularly lego, nerf guns, scaletrix, razor rip stick thingy and will browse for pressies for relatives kids. Finished all of the toy shopping in this sale last year. Normally go to the small store in Bodmin near where we live but have persuaded hubby to come with me early tomorrow to Plymouth as hoping there will be more selection even though its nearly an hour away. Do they have a good selection of toys there?

There's normally a really good selection at Marsh Mills, and they always add more for the sale (at least they did last year). The staff are really good too, and there are always toys on either ends of the aisles.

Wouldn't bother with the one in the city centre - very few toys.

    Good luck for tomorrow!

Do we think Bamber Bridge will have a bigger selection than the one on Flintoff Way at Preston? I'm driving up from Blackpool for the opening so not sure which is the bigger Toy Selection. Anyone? I did the Preston one last year, it was quiet with quite a few toys and I met another MSE'er but that was at 9am. Does anyone know which store would be better? Thanks

The stores are pretty identical now they have done BB up so i'd say its just pot luck really. Would Bispham now be a bit quieter for you? I don't know what their range is like though.

I went this evening, its really not that great they dont have any of the must have Which? toys (apart from bop it) they do have the vtech storio if anyones interested and the kidzoom cam corder. They also have cookie the fur real dog, nerf guns my little pony princess celestia, but while they had lots of it, it wasnt anything my kids are in to, so it wont really be saving money for me just spending more on crap they wont play with! I might go later on and just get stocking fillers though.

asda have pink dolls houses at the mo for £35. and they do abt 3 diff furniture sets for £12 i think each. we got one last yr very sturdy well made. have never seen them at their full price of £60 though.
  • Oh and just checked my Amazon account, and half price items were dispatched 28th October so do not listen to others saying in a week etc (although they will be doing black friday in November). If you think Amazon will reduce to half price it will be tonight.

Personally I do not think they will this year as we all know Sainsbury is not online but would hate for anyone to miss out.

Hi..How do you know its not online this year?.. I called my store just now and the manager said they haven't had anything to say its not online??
