I have asked a few times but no one can pin point the date, I seem to remember it was a friday am very early around 5am it was but the date the actual date to stay up for no idea can't even find receipt to verify:D

hhmm i might check online this friday then.:)
  • Hope Middlesbrough store has got plenty of toys in for the sale because they've only had a small section recently. I don't know of any other stores in teesside with big range of toys either.

I don;t expect amazon reductions this year. Last year we all thought sainsbury would be on line and that is why Amazon reduced. As soon as it was clear there was no on-line sale prices shot back up. This year we all know it is in store only.

Oh and for all those that can't quite remember, if Amazon were to do reductions, tonights the night.

I think Amazon waited until after midnight and then reduced a load of things to half price just for a few hours, for all the disappointed people on here that had waited up til midnight for nothing. By morning the toys were back to normal price!

Does anyone know what time the sale starts online?

Yes it was around 4am to 5/6am got loads remember that big ones big lego city sets I got but do not know anything about whether it will be this year or not?

Anyone know if Castle Vale (Birmingham) will be opening earlier as they don't open normally till 8am?

Been in tonight and they said normal time 8am. May see you there although I'm not really sure what I want or for that matter my boys need! There was about 6 tall metal crates of stuff to unload at the front of the store and one solitary assistant was unpacking big stuff in the toy aisle - he said he was working until 10pm tonight and was back in at 5am (poor thing) and said they had loads to unpack the big stuff was easy it was the small bits that would be a pain. The shelves looked quite full so I'm not sure where they were going to put it all.

I have just been on one of my old threads and it was posted the 9/11/10 that a week ago would have made it the 2nd of november that amazon had the lego at 50/60% off so that narrows it down a bit now which day was nov 2nd last year?:D

I have it on very good authority that none of the stores are opening early tomorrow morning. I even double checked my store just in case my friend who works in Sainsburys had got it wrong. Along with everyone else saying the same thing here I would get an extra hour in bed if I was you! :)

Im not sure how your freind would know about every single store but I phoned up myself and mine opens an hour earlier too. If in doubt phone your local store yourself to get the facts.

It was the night before/morning of the sainsbury sale and went live in the very early hours between 1 and 2am.
