Woo hoo, work has approved my 90 minutes holiday for Thursday morning, which means I have time to be at the half price toy sale for opening time and get to work (was meant to be at work at 8am, the same time as our local store opens). It's onnnnnnn! Lol!
Better now check whether or not the store is open earlier than usual! Mind you, this year I'm after Lego mainly, and I seem to remember there been plenty of that in previous years.
P.S. If you are after something specific, find out where it is in the store beforehand, then be there for opening and make a beeline for it. Last year my son desperately wanted a Toy Story Woody toy, there were only three, the lady in front of me bagged the first, I bagged the second and the guy behind me bagged the final one. Seconds later and I'd have missed it.0 -
Just a heads up for Oldham, to add to the chaos of Mumps, the main road to Sainsburys is now all closed off & you get diverted all round town!!! It was a nightmare today. Debating whether to go straight to Ashton instead.0

hiya have you checked tesco as they had loads half price and if you have a homebargains store near you look in there as they have loads of cheap bits too you couldnt guess that i have been getting bits for my 2 gd christmas hth
I've had a look but it's mostly kung fu or special forces stuff that's half price, don't think my dd would like those. Did manage to pick up quite a few deals from Tesco instore over the past few weeks, but need the actual hamsters and puppies now. Unfortunately haven't got a homebargains near me but thank you for your advice0 -
I've been to Bolton one today and they told me they are putting lots of toys out for the half price sale (there's not alot out atm!) and they're open at 7am! HTH someone0

I was thinking of going down tomorrow and picking up few bits I want then returning them in a few days for cheaper price??? is this allowed? can't see why it wouldn't be?0 -
