Working Tax Credits query..

I have just recieved a letter stating that I am entitled to Working Tax Credits. Its £190 a month and I am currently working 37.5 hours per week. I am an agency temporary worker and as of the 2nd of November, my hours will be dropping to 24 hours per week. I know that I need to inform the tax credits about this. However, will I still qualify if I am ony working 24 hours per week (3 days) and I have non dependants??

No, you will need 30 hours. You will need to find an extra 6 hours of work doing anything you want to continue to get the WTC's. Self employment opportunities are plentiful but they don't pay much.
    :footie:
:p Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S) :p Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money. :p
  • So will I not be entitled to anything if im only working 24 hours?? I thought that I would get less but I was thinking that I would still get something?

No, you won't be eligible. But as MJ pointed out to you, you can make up the 6 hours working on something else...self employment is often a good option. If the drop in hours is only temporary, there are allowances by TCs for this, but I can't remember the exact rules.
