I had to buy a new wiper blade so went to Halfords and whilst paying for the item I was handed a yellow voucher giving 15% off any purchase between 6-28th September 2008. Excludes Sat Nav, MP3 players, Boardman Bikes and gift vouchers. Obviously if you are looking to purchase a 'big' item then its best to buy say an air freshener or something of little value to obtain the voucher and then buy your 'big' purchase with the 15% off voucher during the 6-28th September.

T&C

1. This voucher may be redeemed for an extra 15% discount off any transaction, excluding the purchase of sat nav, MP3 player, Boardman bikes and gift vouchers
2. Only one voucher may be redeemed per transaction
3. Voucher valid between 6 September & 28 September 2008 inclusive

I went in today and spent £3.25 on crimp things! I didn't get a voucher! I need to de-rust my car and i'll be spending quite a bit. How did you qualify for a voucher?

Yesterday, my wife and I went on the car baby seat hunt and had occasion to call into Halfords (Silverlink, North Tyneside). During the browse, we spoke to an assistant and he suggested that if we were to buy something then, which we were intending to anyway, he would give us a voucher for 15% discount on a further purchase in the week of 9th September. I'm not sure whether there is any minimum purchase for the voucher (doubt it) but we spent £40 for the voucher and get 15% off the purchases we make (likely to cost about £200 on top), so it is worthwhile. It's certainly worthy of further investigation. The offer does exclude certain things, such as GPS, Chris Boradman bikes and a few other things.

Has anyone got one these but isn't going to use it as I'd really appreciate one because I'd like to buy a Mountain bike from them but with out it i don;t think i'll be able to afford it .

I spoke to a Halfords employee yesterday who told me that they have a big sale on mountain bikes starting at the beginning of October.
He also told me that if you buy a bike and then find that the price is reduced within 7 days of purchase you can go back and get the difference back

I got the offer from an email from shell but anyone who logs into the website can also get the voucher. Looks like you can redeem it against the wipes which are currently £2.99. Redeemable til 31st March 2009. Once you apply they send you the voucher by email - it fills a whole A4 paper in colour.
