If you're after a bike you could also try the Cyclescheme.

Your employer has to be willing to run the scheme before you can do this. This is because the scheme can only run through what is known as a salary sacrifice, where you agree to temporarily reduce your wages to pay for the hire of goods – in this case a bike and equipment.

I posted this yesterday; you just need to reserve the items online first and then collect from nearest store.

"Halfords 10% off everything (except Sat Nav & MP3) has been extended until Monday 30th June.

Print out voucher from website and take to store with reserve & collect confirmation to redeem 10% off your order."

Thanks to everyone that posted. It was DS1 birthday today and I managed to use the "reserve and pick up" 10% off voucher so he will be getting his bike on Monday:):) and with the money saved I think we can stretch to some knee and elbow pads -thanks again.
