Hi All
Posted this, first in the "cheapest home phones" Sticky, bit of a faux pas maybe?

Has anyone had any experience of BE and their landline service?

I know their Broadband is (was?) very well thought of but was thinking of getting the landline with them as well.

  • One thing to bear in mind is that some types of broadband fault can be a nuisance to get sorted when they involve the ISP and the line provider bickering about who should deal with it. Having both from the same supplier means the customer doesn't end up in that position; if that's important that might pay for itself in the event of a problem later on versus saving a few extra pounds, maybe, depending on if and how you use the line for calls.
