My partner is starting a new job on 14th November. She will be working the same 25 hours per week but for less pay.
When do i need to inform the benifits people? now or once she's started?
we currently get WTC & CB
Thanks

Once she has started and if she is earning £10,000 more (over the tax year) than what both of you earnt last year you need to ring tax credits and tell them after she has received her first pay packet. Your tax credit claim for next year will be lower if she hasn't worked at all or higher if you earnt less.
I'd just ring anyway and let them know. They'll figure it out.:footie:
Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

thanks, she will defiantly be earning less as the salary is nearly half her current wage!
I dont think she'll even pay tax next year0
