Credit card cash

Believe it or not, in this day and age the solicitor I am using to move house does not accept credit cards.
I don't have the outright cash to pay the bills so I am looking at either a CC cheque or...
Paying the money into my paypal account and then transferring it out into my bank account.
Has anyone done this before? I assume that the paypal payment will be treated as a purchase and fall under my 0% interest free period.
What are your thoughts?
