Can I transfer hubby's balance to my 0% card?

I want to apply for one of the 0% BT deals around at the moment. Does the balance I transfer have to be from a credit card in my name or can I transfer a balance from my husband's card?

I don't know....BUT.....I've done balance transfers before and all you have to do is put in the account details so I don't see why not....

You can indeed do this... with the usual disclaimer that the debt will become legally yours, and you will have absolutely zero legal recourse to force hubby to pay you back.
You're spelling is effecting me so much. Im trying not to be phased by it but your all making me loose my mind on mass!! My head is loosing it's hair. I'm going to take myself off the electoral role like I should of done ages ago and move to the Caribean. I already brought my plane ticket, all be it a refundable 1.
  • Thanks. I understand that I accept the debt as mine (joint debt anyway) but thanks for the warning as well!
  • Yes I have done this a few times, never a problem
