I mentioned it in my email, that I was listed as one of the winners, but still haven't heard back.

This hasn't happened before and, I have to say, it has left rather a sour taste. Any competition I have won before now, those organising and sending out prizes have been great.

Hi OP,

The way they've handled that competition is shambolic to say the least.

I think they need showing up publicly. If you have evidence like screen grabs etc then one easy way of doing this is to give your story to one of these magazines.

What those magazines would pay for your story would more than compensate you for the amount those jokers have diddled you by.

Just thought I would update:

The competition sponsors have now honoured the prize, which arrived today.

They are still saying I didn't win but, because it was their mistake, they sent the prize and I can keep the consolation prize as well.

Thanks for the advice with regards this. It's never happened before and I've won some great prizes since joining this site.

All's well that ends well, as they say.
