Hi
Does anyone know where I can possibly get a renault key card coded in South Wales without having to visit the dealer who would like to charge me ripping off fee of £212 :eek::eek:
Cut a long story short I only have 1 keycard for my Espace and it's becoming very temperamental when trying to open my car if I hold it in a certain place and press the open or shut button sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. Very temperamental! So beginning of the end is I need a new Card and dont want to pay renault's prices.
Does anyone else code these cards oh and I need it done asap as I'm going away a week today with my car so really don't want to be stuck down where I am.
Thanks for your help in advance
Rhiannon

First of all get the remote battery checked/replaced, they ony cost a few quid.0

I've changed the battery chic it's the connection that is the problem and I've been told it can't be repaired x0

Your best bet is looking in Yellow Pages for car locksmiths who offer coding services for Renault vehicles - a 'man in a van' style service. My mate paid £120 for a new genuine Renault key for his car, cut and coded. I think Renault dealers wanted over £200.0

I used this company if its any help. Cost me £18 for my Citroen and they cut the key via a photograph.
