Thats what I do - I have an A4 spiral bound notebook, write down all my winning bidders addresses, then mark off when paid, another mark when I posted it, then I can keep track of who has paid and how much I have earnt. At end of each month, I look at how much was profit (minus fees, packaging postage etc) and transfer money to my a/cs. This way, its easier to see why you do ebay and can see the reward.0

Hi, can I join in please?
I have started ebaying this month as I have a huge amount of general clutter and an even huger (is that a word?) debt.
So far, we have done quite well, raising a good couple of hundred pounds, so today we decided that we would aim to raise enough by ebaying/amazon/car booting to pay off DH's Egg card. This is a little under £4000 so some challenge, but with a bit of concentration and effort, I reckon we can get a good way towards it.

I am sure there will be a website somewhere but I've set up a spreadsheet that I can drop the costs and final prices into as some of the ebaying I do is my DD's stuff and the money goes to her - she wants to make sure I'm not holding funds back the cheek :-)0

Try eCal, I've found it INCREDIBLY useful.

I think you need to pay the whole loan -maybe save up the money until you have the balance outstanding? Phone them to check.0

Might be worth listing the jeans by size in lots. I listed mine separately and they did nothing, then listed then in groups of 3's - sold the lot. Got £20 for three pairs.
By the way don't forget to ask family if they have anything they want to get shot of. I listed a pair of chandeliers that were in the house my inlaws bought. I caught my mother in law putting them in the rubbish. They sold at the weekend for £235! I agreed to split the proceeds 50% after costs, so I am still £100 better off!
Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!

I have a couple of items ending today so hopefully another £50 in the bag before too long. I am having a housework day today with a view to a proper spring clean in the next couple of weeks so expect to unearth loads of things that will find their way on the ebay list.
I also have lots of things that are better suited to a car boot but will have to wait until Easter to do that - I am not standing in a field in the freezing cold
I made my first over payment on the Egg card that I am trying to clear, so that felt good. Gives me the incentive to keep on working at this!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground.
