When I first signed up to Skype a couple of years ago, the Skype logo came up in the bar at the bottom of the screen whenever I logged on and it loaded automatically. There have been some updates etc on my computer since then and now it does not load until I click on the Skype icon on the desktop. How can I get it to load automatically whenever I log on again?

When you get to the welcome screen there is a box to tick, if you wish, that says " start Skype when computer starts" and another which says " sign me in when Skype starts"

Any program set to run when you start the computer adds to start-up and shut down time.

Unless you use Skype all the time, it may be better to leave it as it is.
