Rejected before the court ruling

Hi folks,
I was initially rejected by Santander after trying to reclaim missold PPI on a Debenhams store card that was taken out in 1994.
Is it worth complaining again now that the ruling in April / May this year states that past sales of PPI must be reviewed and customers offered redress?
If so does any one have a template letter?
My reasons for the miss-sell are numerous The account cover section of the form was already ticked and signed by the store advisor (I have a copy of this). I had a pre exisiting medical condition. I was already working for the police who provide sick / redundancy pay. At the time I was only working part time. My husband was self employed. All this and I was still sent their rejection letters.
Any help at all would be appreciated. Thanks:T:j

There has been no court ruling saying past sales must be reviewed.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. Look at the reclaiming guide on the main site and go through the Financial Ombudsman. That will sort things out for you.

You only get 6 months from the date of rejection by Santander to refer the case to the FOS. It sounds like the OP is past that point.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
