Selling abroad

I recently had an enquiry from abroad asking me for a quote for postage. I said that I didn't want to send stuff abroad, as the Royal Mail tracking system didn't cover shipments abroad and I didn't want to find myself stuck if the parcel got lost, with resulting embarrassment, negative feedback, etc.
I realise that by limiting myself I am potentially losing out on sales.
How do you feel about that ?
TIA

It is completely up to you of course. However I don't track anything under £46 in the Uk so am quite happy to send items up to £46 standard airmail.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. It is a rare buyer who will give a neg for a lost item if seller refunds promptly and keeps in touch.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
