I'm in need of a voice/speech recognition software but I don't know which to buy. I don't want to spend a fortune on something I won't be happy with. Can anyone recommend one they use and are happy with? Thank you.
I have my eye on one on email thats Dragon viavoice naturally speaking 8 with dictaphone and software, but have no idea if dragon viavoice is any good.

There is an open source project for speech recognition but not really that useable atm
Dragon Naturally Speaking is probably the highest rated all rounder and I think Viavoice is a cut down version (?) - seems cheaper....Neil0 -
I use Via Voice 9 and it's quite good - especially after you've read it prescribed stories so that it can match your voice.:think: If you want the rainbow, you've gotta put up with the rain :hello:0

Forgot about that - when I used Dragon years ago you spent an age talking to it to get the recognition working well
