Does anyone know of a number that can be used to contact Bt in the uk and not end up with a offshore call center

    Just what is happening to BT?

    I reported a fault by the automated system last week, tried to speak to someone and was told to try again later. Tried again, same thing.Message says you can go online.

    Went online today, fault is showing as reported, went on live chat(10th on line average wait time over 21 minutes!!!!!!!

    Finally get connected, do not deal with landline faults have to speak to fault line by phone.This guy actually very helpful, rings me and connects me to an actual person (after I complain).

    Hard to understand the operator even though her english was quite good, still hard to understand every word. Had to go through everything again.
    Turns out fault not even passed to Engineer even though showing on line?

    It is now being dealt with(hopefully) but this is not how I remember BT being. Not impressed by service at all.
