Oh dear - quiet on here tonight!
[looks proud]
I made chilli tonight (awaits applause). Reduced mince turned out to disappear almost to nothingness in the pan, so added onion, garam masala, tinned tomatoes and mixed beans in chilli sauce (tin BB: 2009 - don't tell anyone!). To Minion's disappointment, I made a huge pan of rice and served up enough for her to get a good meal, even though she picked the beans out - why, I don't know, it's not something I have ever seen her do - like a toddler. But she ate the lot*
*Except I made enough to fill a clean takeaway container with another portion for the freezer - which is the double special bit, as we don't have leftovers often. Which takes the cost of the meal down to about 30p a portion.
Just have to clean up any mess she's left out there from having a yoghurt and a whole pound of strawberries afterwards. :eek:I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -

Well I made fairly good progress early on and cleaned windows in LR and cleaned the front door, got the bins in and then sat down for a rest.... When I got up my knee exploded and poured blood and fluid everywhere. It looked like something was murdered in the kitchen. I could not stop it weeping and finally rang the doctors........ they wanted to see me so I had to drive to town with a tea towel wrapped around my knee. It appears that a stitch came out and the fluid in my knee just poured out of the hole. So I now have super glue and sterri strips holding it together. But it is swelling again so who knows.November NSD 1/10Weight loss - 7lbs from the 41 I need to loose = 34 to go0 -

OMG Methekidsandthecat :eek:I went all wobbly reading your post. Lots of Wolfy healing vibes coming your way.
OK, time to take Mistress Meg outside for a last tiddle, then bedtime, methinks. Hope my shoulder will let me get some rest; I took a dose of Oramorph a short while ago, so perhaps that'll quiet it down a bit.:oIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

You can buy the feather dusters in macro - mine cost me £8 but that was quite a few years ago. It has molted quite a bit since then - particularly when the dog was a pup:D It is the best type of duster i've ever had tho.
Micro fibre cloths you can buy in any supermarket and - i've got varying sizes but the last ones i bought are quite big - can't remember where i got them tho sorry
I'm sure stainless steel drinking bottles will be available too - i'd try a camping or outdoor sports shop.
& Welcome btw:hello:0 -
