We are off to Wales for 4 nights on Tuesday. The weather isn't going to be nice so I am just after some ideas of what I can do with kids around Carmarthen area SA33 area. My kids are 11 and 3 and we have 3 nights in this area.
Are there any good decent restaurants too that you can recommend?
Secondly we were thinking of spending our 4th night in Cardiff, is it worth stopping by for Cardiff or are there more interesting town in Wales?
Thanks

Take them to see all the Doctor Who filming locations! One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.0

Hmmm, we have never seen anything Doctor Who so that won't probably interest them.0

Frankie and Bennies in Carmarthen is quite good for food as is the Weatherspoons - assuming you are looking for someone family orientated. We have a pizza express but I am not particularly impressed by ours although I do like Pizza Express. We have an apollo cinema. Krazy Kids is a good soft play place even my 10 yr old doesnt mind going with his younger sisters. If you are up for a bit of travelling then Folly Farm if it is open in the week this time of the year is definately worth a visit as would the Gwilli Railway which is local but again I'm not sure that it is open in the week. If you have good weather it is worth wrapping up and going down to the country park at Pembrey or the beach at Llansteffan neither of which is too far. As we are a fairly rural area everyone travels here.
If you go to Cardiff then have a look at Techniquest and possibly St Fagins although the 3yr old might be a bit young for that.0
