Not sure about putting balls in the tumble dryer - call me a coward but I'll stick with using a towel.

Will check in St John's precinct Liverpool this evening just for info though.

if you wrap them up inside the towel or whatever they are not so noisy and do make the towel much more fluffy and reduce drying time. Give it a go for £1 what have you got to lose.

I got some yesterday so will be giving them a try next time i use the dryer (which is not that often due to trying to keeping costs down).

Ive just realised that these must work the same as using tennis balls in the dryer, perhaps just a bit better due to being nobbly. My hubbys feather and down filled jacket has washing instructions which say to dry it in the tumble dryer on a low heat with 2 or 3 new/clean tennis balls which helps to plump and keep the filling evenly dispersed. Im sure it says trainers too as when he does wash it we have 2 tennis balls and a trainer in the dryer with it. Rather noisy though drives you mad.

By the way the jacket is not a cheap thing with crazy instructions, it is an expensive brand, so reliable wash instructions.

None in Leeds yesterday, and when I enquired the assistant said they had tried to re-order from the warehouse. The warehouse had no more in.

I'm in Bristol. No Poundland here. But want one of these.

Can anyone please do me a favour? Next time when you visit the shop, buy one set for me. I'll pay for the postage and cost of it (paypal, cheque, bank transfer).

Thanks. I thought they gonna be the great balls (for £1).
