Hello
I could do with some help. My C Drive is almost full and i've tried everything.
I've looked through the internet and tried all the below:
disk cleanup
removed .tmp file
Removed unused programs
used CCleaner
Un-installed loads of things.
I am running Windows XP and my Dell Studio 1735 laptop has a 222GB memory with only 16GB free after all these things. It only had 11GB before these.
I know i can buy an external hard drive but is that the only option?
If so what do i move to that external drive as i cant see much on my C: drive that i could move?
Cheers

You might want to try searching for any files over a certain size (100mb etc) and see if you can get rid of any unnecessary ones.
If you're puzzled as to why it's full up, it may be that your drive is partitioned, so your actual C: drive size is less then you think,
If your drive is genuinely full of files you need then your only option is to get another one.0 -
Thanks Take This
I have used this and it shows that Files take up the majority of space. 83.3% for Files and 10.6 for windows.
In the Files section, pagefiles.sys are 100%0 -
83.5% of the pagefiles are .sys and 10.9% are .dll
I assume i cant delete these ones?0 -

Many of the files are .EXE, but don't delete those either!
