heya got an older pug 806 2 litre pterol (r reg) and i have a few questions:
looming mot , but its doing a few odd things!
airbag light is now flashing , tried cleaning the underseat connector (it connectors to a plastic end??) and still nowt - what do i need to do to `solder ` it?
indictors have stopped working - and in the fuse board theres 4 relays: (top down on the left are lime green>orange and green and a blue next to to them on the right)
and finally lol - gave it a `boot` to overtake a caravan on the dual carraigeway , got to 4500rpm or so in 4th when it started to ` splutter` revs still climbed but i felt it didnt like it - a few days later its started doing something similar when pulling away in 1st and 2nd - changed teh fuel filter but still doing it - any ideas?
thanks all!!

Has it ever been serviced?
The airbag light will flash a code, Usually a dodgy seatbelt sensor or a dodgy crash sensor. Exterior crash sensors are common
as the connectors corrode.
Indicators, Check the fuse. If they are OK its possible the actualy switch is dodgy.
Service it.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
Right, Airbag light isn't an MOT failure, so obviously it needs doing, but not for MOT.
Forgot my name is right about the stalk, it's a common fault with that type.
Air filter is proberly blocked, failing that could be map sensor, not common on these, but possible.0 -

I would get the clutch checked, it sounds for me as it might be starting to slip and need replacing. Yours is a petrol engine, therefore max torque would be at 4-5k rpm (towards the top end). Cost, about £500 probably.0 -
its been servivced (all filters and oil) plugs and leads - recently.
today - the indicators are back working without being touched and the airbag light is `off` - its not flashing a code - this is too old for that.
what about fuel pump or coil pack? it feels more like its missing than a judder (being honest) and usually when its warmed up0 -

Are you sure the work was done?
Most Peugeots are a b!tch to work on, many a lazy mechanic these days thinks "meh, old car, not worth bothering with".“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”
