gercha, have you thought about setting up an eBay shop, at least until you build up enough funds to get a proper solution developed?

There are alot of off-the-self solutions but to be honest they are a nightmare to setup, even for a techie like me :)

A bespoke solution may cost more (£2000-£3000 is an accurate bottom line figure) but the time and effort saved will be worth it in the longrun.

It might be easier to point you in the right direction if you give more details.

Are you selling individual unique items where your buyers are only likely to be buying one at a time? This is a very simple shop and I can think of a number of easy ways to implement it cheaply or for free.

However, if you're selling 1000s of different types of objects, some in green, size 10 with 5% off if you buy more than 75 then this can be very complex and expensive to set up.
  • there are people here who can prob do it, as a hobby, or part of a project as you say, but you would get what you pay for

i can assist you in getting your site online, and a shop, and as an amatuer, i wll not charge commerical costs
