Has proper had enough! Came back from Morrisons (I now have 3 receipts towards my £25 voucher!) to find OH's car in driveway and OH cutting front grass. Not bad when both front and back were supposed to be done yesterday! I have been asking for months for it to be done but as usual things are done as and when he can be bothered. Things degenerated into a heated "discussion" which has resulted in him admitting that, in his mind, my parents are "the enemy" as all the problems we have been having are all because of them. B****cks! We were having problems for a good while before we came back to the UK but noooo, he doesn't see things like that. My dad is the one that had a right go at him the night I left with the kids even though my dad said absolutely nothing to him!!!! I just don't know what to do anymore. I'm fast getting to the stage where I don't want to continue in this and would happily just leave with the girls and start again with nowt but on the other hand I pay for everything in this house so why the hell should I???? All I keep getting is false promises and told just how many of his friends think i need professional help. But every time he is away I am fine and I get the house looking so nice, then when he comes home it looks like a tip again within a week.

On the MSE front though, things are looking good. Have spent £260 on shopping this month (including toiletries and washing stuff too) and it's looking like I have plenty in the freezer and cupboards to last a while. I think I will be going for £60-80 a week all in and see if that will get me a half decent stockpile of tins and stuff. But unfortunately I need a new fridge freezer as my current one (10 years old) is fast losing its lovelyness and starting to be a pain in the a$$ when it comes to freezing stuff properly. Well it freezes properly but has to be defrosted every 3 weeks. But kind of cheating and gonna order it on a buy now pay in a year from the catalogue along with all the kids pressies. Looking at spending about £1000 on the offer, OH has said he will pay £100 a month to me to pay it off. My catalogue is not bad like that. All extra payments are taken off buy now pay later stuff to reduce that so I should have it paid off quite quick if that happens. Although he also said he would pay the housing benefit £100 off but that hasn't happened. I think I will speak to them and try to get it down to £20 instead of £40 a month. Will take longer but will leave me with more money to save to pay stuff off.

However if Tax Credits actually answer my letter and pay me back all the money they owe me then I will pay the catalogue buy now pay later stuff in one go and the housing benefit debt and still have enough to possibly get a new bed for myself and some nice drawers to go with it.

Right, was making nachos and pork for tea but he took over cos he thinks he knows better than me so leaving him to it ... gonna try and tidy my room to make it nice for me not him. He can carry on sleeping on the sofa!

Later folks. I'll probably feel a bit more positive later xxx

Am definitely feeling more positive cos FOH went out with his "mates". At least he took his own car and gave me £30 towards school dinners for the next 2 weeks. I only have to pay £5 tomorrow! Thank goodness as the £100 catalogue payment will be coming out then. It's the only Direct Debit that doesn't come out at the start of the month. May have to speak to them after Christmas to get the DD swapped to the 1st of the month so that after that date all the money in the account is for school dinners, food and essentials. The kids are definitely into budgeting as we went all round morrisons and they never asked for anything once! I love my wee girlies so much!

Well his version of a pork curry and nachos was minging! We ate a few nachos but me and the girls could not eat the "curry" as it was too spicy.

But on a positive note. I have my little onions soaking in salted water ready to be pickled tomorrow night. And for the bargain price of £2.50 I have a pan full of caper sauce. I love this stuff on toast and just in a bowl. It can be eaten hot or cold and is delicious.

If anyone is interested, the ingredients are 2 large onions, 2 tins chopped tomatoes, some tomato puree, a small jar of pickled capers and some olive oil. Finely dice the onions and sweat them off in hot olive oil. When they go kind of transparent, add the two tins of tomatoes and mix well. When it has sufficiently reduced, add a tablespoon of tomato puree and the drained capers. Heat through and then take off the heat. When cold, the olive oil will rise to the top, just mix it back in before eating as it adds to the flavour.

It's an old italian recipe that my aunt taught me when i was a kid (she married an italian and lives over there now). I've made a double batch as I already had a huge jar of capers in the cupboard so this cost me about £2 for the big pan's worth. I may just have to take some to my mum as she is proper addicted to it lol. So much that when my dad makes it (very rarely) he makes two pan's worth as she will sit with a spoon and eat it straight from the pan!!!!

I will be taking small tubs of it to work to snack on instead of eating crisps and assorted s**te lol. Although I am not sure I will be going to work tomorrow as my downstairs area is proper agony so may just have to phone the docs and see what they say. The hospital did tell me to take it easy for a few days so dunno if I have possibly done too much over the weekend.

As it stands, DW to empty and reload, TD to reload and then it is off to bed. On my own or with the cat. I will be starfishing so that I get the bed to myself!

Night night all, hope you have had good days xxx

i'm off to my mothers. FOH is lying in bed after coming in !!!!!! at god knows what time, i slept in this morning, am off work, kids were late for school (my fault of course) and I have just spent 2 hours trying to see the floor in DD1's bedroom. He is still in bed ... shock! Apparently he has the day off! yeah so he can sleep off last nights excitements with all his "mates". Am going to my mothers and am going to do the letters that he said he was going to do ... what a !!!!in liar he is turning into ... will probly say he "forgot" to get the postal orders (even tho i gave him the money and never saw it back!) and "forgot" to sign stuff and post it. So i am going to do it all myself today ... get it out of the way and get it sorted out. If I get my tax credit money back before christmas (yeah i am hoping) it would pay off a huge chunk of the catalogue bill and the housing benefit debt and pay for loads of yummy stuff to eat. But going to have to get the letters off today. Speak later xxx

Right, yesterday was productive. Went to post office, bought 3 x £2 postal orders, signed letters and posted the following:

3 x letters requesting my credit file.

1 x snotty letter to tax credits office

1 x letter to army requesting all my details.

I am determined to get back the £1800 or so that the Tax Credits have taken off me for "overpayments" that the TCO have admitted are their fault. But they took the money off me anyway. So I want it back asap as it will pay for new fridge freezer and all christmas as well.

I am also determined to get my paperwork from army to check if they have used the words "medical discharge" so I can get a backdated pension from them. If that happens I would be debt free exceptionally quickly and could actually buy a house outright so we dont have to pay rent which would free up £325 a month! I was told I was being medically discharged but now they are saying I wasn't. But will have to get paperwork to go thru with fine toothcomb.

Am feeling motivated this morning, was up no problem (ok was in bed last night at 8pm!) so this morning, feeling really upbeat and determined that the kids rooms at least are going to be blitzed to within in an inch of their lives lol, hopefully FOH will help move DD1's bed so that I can rearrange the room and get her laptop back on her desk and out of my room! Then DD2's room which will take me 10 minutes at most. All that needs done is the bedding changed and the carpet hoovered once all the washing is out of the room and in the WM. Then its tackling the laundry mountain in my room. It's all clean, just needs put away. So once rooms are done all the clean stuff can be hung up and put in drawers where it belongs, then I can start on my room. I want it rearranged but will settle for tidy just now!

Am off to take the bratz to breakfast club now. Hope the day goes to plan!!! FOH was supposed to take them but he is sleeping ... SHOCK!!!!

See you all in a bit. Feeling rather smug this morning!

Well done on getting the letters sorted and fingers crossed that the Army paperwork comes up trumps for you.

    :beer:Thanks SBO ... sometimes I don't know how I keep going myself!

Well FOH wasn't too bad for most of the day. Managed to get rabbit food, sawdust and straw donated to the SSPCA shelter as our bunny is no more :(. And I aint gettin another one:p

Having a sneaky ciggie before making tea. Mince and tatties is you please:j FOH and DD2 will only have boiled tatties but me and DD1 will have mash.

DD1's room is almost finished. All I have to do it remake her bed and a quick hoover of the corner and it is done for now. Drawers etc need moved but that can be done at the weekend.

FOH can get off his a$$ tomorrow and do DD2's room. It's tiny so shouldn't take him long:rotfl:Oh who am I kidding, it will just about kill him:rotfl:

Now that DD1's room looks like a bedroom and not the council tip, I can actually get her clean clothes back in drawers and the wardrobe instead of in baskets in my room, making my room look more like a bedroom and less like a chinese laundry:o

Letter wise, I know that the army got theirs. I cheekily requested a speedy acknowledgement as this is the third subject access request I have sent in. My first one was actioned, and sent to FOH's previous unit, who deny ever seeing it, second one was completely ignored:mad: so this is their last chance to get it right. Anyone would think they have something to hide. Anyhow got a phone call this afternoon to confirm that it has been received and is being forwarded to the appropriate department.

So on the balance of probabilities, the other letters have been received today as well. I know the credit files will take about 3 weeks so not too bothered about them. Just want tax credits to get back to me asap and send me a fat cheque :rotfl:I know that is not really going to happen right away, but i can hope:rotfl:

Thank goodness I have two wheelie bins! I have almost filled one and its only tuesday! Bins go out on Thursday night for collection on friday morning and bin number 1 is just about full up with all the carp collected from DD1's room as well as our household rubbish. We only have a blue box for tins and paper so I have been taking that into work as they have huge wheelie bins for paper and tins and plastic bottles so that's all coming in the car once a week with me ... a bit cheeky but no-one has noticed yet! We are supposed to be getting blue wheelie bins next year so the council can go to fortnightly collections. I think we will be okay provided we can get a second recycling bin from the council. I will have to write a letter as we could probably fill a wheelie bin with paper in a fortnight and another with plastic bottles and tins so will have to see what they say but I think we still have a good 6 months before that happens!

Right the good stable scottish dish of mince and tatties for tea, will only take as long at it takes tatties to boil.

    Back later. Cheers y'all!

Oops forgot to say, came home yesterday to find no FOH, house looking like blackpool illuminations, and a bunch of flowers in the sink. He said they were to say sorry for coming in drunk on sunday night/monday morning.

Yeah, nothing to say sorry for being a complete a$$ for the last 4 years, nothin to say sorry for being a complete pIg to my parents, who have done nothing but bend over backwards to help us over the years. Was pretty !!!!!! off to say the least. And his attitude? "If you don't want the flowers then chuck them in the bin!"
