Ipod Touch - any good for entering competitions?

Hi,
I'm looking for the cheapest most portable device which can enable me to surf the net, check emails, and enter competitions. I want it to be portable so I can take it with me to work and enter competitions there (no, my boss doesn't mind!). I have seen that there is an app for ipod touch which allows roboform to be downloaded, so do I take it that this would be a good option for competitions and form filling? Or would I be best with a netbook?
My budget is under £200, obviously cheaper the better!
Any advice is appreciated.

HP Touchpad using the latest Android could be a cheap "new" option0

I have an 2nd gen iPod touch. Is ok for purpose you state except you have to make a decision whether to store your passwords on it via Safari 'auto remember' and also it can be slow to enter email addresses due to unusual characters.
The current Touch is around £170 I think - a bit pricey.
An Orange San Francisco (Android) 3g + WiFi phone can be had for around £100, has a good big display, sensitive capacitive touch screen and can eventually be unlocked for best tariff & performance. Also, on Android you can probably install a good Password Manager/Form Filler a la Roboform type functionality. In iThings there seem to be no satisfactory auto Form Fillers / Password Managers that store your secrets on-board behind one secure master password. Form Fillers can automate filling in stuff like postal address.0 -
look at archos 32 internet tablet, my daughter has one, runs android, does everything you say
its called a tablet, but is smaller than a smartphone. Think you can pick them up for less than 100 pounds now0 -
Hi all,
Thanks for the replies, I will research them online, and might try to get into a shop to try and look at the options.
