Can anyone help please, My Triton shower has started to make a very loud vibrating noise, sounds like air in the pipes, do I need a plumber or electrician , or a new shower or is there any thing I can do myself . I have tried turning the taps on and off whilst it is on but that does not do anything. Any advice would be most welcome.

I would get a plumber in first, sounds like an air problem. The only moving part in the Triton shower is a solenoid, if the solenoid is faulty then no water would flow through the shower. Hope this helps.0

There is a filter where the water pipe feeds into the shower. Turn off the cold water stop tap. Remove the shower fuse in the mains fuse box. Take off the cover on the shower and disconnect the water inlet pipe. Gently prize out the filter and remove any debris. If possible fit a hose to the water pipe and have someone turn on the water to flush out the pipe.
Reconnect everything and turn on water and refit fuse. Run the shower on cold to expel any trapped air then use as normal.0
