reduced bed

i ordered a bed from bensons for beds last week. it was £499 but there was 10% off on the day so i paid £450 and then £100 for a headboard. it is due to be delivered next monday.

bensons are now selling this bed for £399 including a headboard and pillows have i got any rights to cancel the order and reorder at the lower price?

Not these stupid posts again. Do you mean next monday as in the 17th of october.

I dont imagine telling them i wanna cancel my order because the price is now lower, So i can then place the order again and waste everyone time.

Did you buy in a shop?
If so, you have no right to do that.

Equally, there is nothing to stop you asking.
  • No.

If you bought online/mail order then you can refuse the delivery or return the bed under Distance Selling Regulations, but Bensons are under no obligation to sell you another one, at a lower or any price.
A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.

The famous £399 bed that can bought elsewhere at £299?
  • similar happened when I bought a sofa from Harveys.

Why don't you ring and ask them first, when I spoke to Harveys to see if they would sell for the new price they said yes and cheque for the difference. Like you it was ordered but not yet delivered.

Even if they don't refund the difference in cash, they may offer store credit or something.
