Hi, Just a quickie
IF I appeal against my DLA award, during the mammoth amount of time it will take to go to tribunal, do they still pay you what you've been awarded or does it all stop?
Thanks

Sorry, but you don't receive any "replacement" payment while Appealing a DLA decision.0

I'm not sure what is meant by "replacement" payment above, but if you already have an award of DLA this will continue whilst the Appeal is in process.0

Sorry I was tryingto answer simply, but obviously failed.
If the OP has lost their award completely they will receive no payment while they appeal.
If they retained some of their award, this will continue to be paid that amount.
They will not receive a payment based on their previous award.0 -
Ok thanks, so...
On my renewal notice i have been awarded mid rate care and low rate mobility, taking me from high rate mobility which is really what i need.
SO< If I appeal, the payments for mid rate care and low rate mobility will continue throughout the appeal????0 -
Yes, though I think in principle the award can be reassessed while you're waiting for the appeal - changing your entitlement again.,0

And you are putting at risk the award that has already been given. You may come out with nothing!0
