That was a strange conversation to come back to :rotfl: :rotfl: but funny :D:D

I went shopping with Linda at the new Morries this afternoon - good to have a new store to shop at and handy having this store in town now for somethings we can only get there

Got back, had dinner and were sitting relaxing when Linda rang me at 8.40 pm to say her brother had rang to say their Dad had died at 5.30 tonight :( He was 84 and had been in a home for the past few months due to dementia and several falls, and had a cold for the last day or so which got worse and he just died quietly

I asked Linda if she wanted to go over to see her Mam, as I know I would want to, and she did, so I drove her over there. We just sat and chatted with her mam, her brother and s-i-l, and I just got back half an hour ago so am shattered now. Linda's brother & wife are going to stay over there for a couple of days and sort things out funeral/etc wise

Mr 3Dogs was still up when I got home - or rather he'd been to bed but couldn't get comfortable enough to get any sleep so had got up again. I made a mug of hot chocolate and he has gone to bed now to see if he can sleep, but he's had 2 tramad0l as the pain had been so bad. I am just going to unwind for a while before I go to bed
    :( Mr 3Dogs 3-7-12 :( 3Dogs'Mam 31-3-13 :(

Hiya everyone - Doc told Mr 3Dogs to take 2 x Co-codam0l, 2 x Tramad0l and 1 x D!azapan three times a day and to ring him on Monday to see how he is progressing with that, but that he can expect to be zonked out with these . He has now had all his 1st lot of meds and is off to bed as can feel them hitting already, so I hope he can get a good rest

Thanks Aesop, he had a sleep when we got back and was ready for his next lot of meds when he woke up, so has had them and is reading in bed

More bad news :(:( My niece's hubbie's Mam has died today :(:( She's had lung cancer and the prognosis was not good but developed pnuemonia, was taken into hospital two days ago and died this afternoon at 1. My Great-niece's Holly & Grace are at my sister's prior to their nativity play at school, so they are waiting to tell them afterwards. Poor things are only 6 and 10 but they did know that Grandma Jean was very ill

    Not a good Christmas :(:(
