Mr 3Dogs saw the doc this morning and he said that an x-ray wouldn't show anything as it was sfot-tissue' problem but referred his for physio, saying it could be up to 4 or 5 weeks before he gets appointment, though he did mark it very very very urgent  doc was quite concerned that Mr 3Dogs now has severe pain on his other side now :(

Anyway, quick drive home and I was out again taking Bonnie to the vets - they take bloods and will do tests on urine when I can get enough for them to test. I wandered around the car park with bowl ready to pop it under her when she wee'd and all she would do is a drop at a time, so I had to bring a container home to take a sample in when I can. The bloods go away for testing anyway, so it will be 2 days before they ring with results. Vet didn't want to put her on incontinence tablets automatically when it could be kidney trouble or urinary tract infection, so will wait until she has the results of the tests before prescribing anything

Poor Mr 3Dogs was in tears this morning in case Bonnie didn't come home, but I assured him she would be home today and she was :D He stayed up until we got back but has taken meds and gone back to bed now

It is, in the circumstances, but I had to wait 8 weeks for physio once

Remembered something else about Mr 3Dogs' trip to docs. He told doc about sleeping all day and waking during the night, and he told him not to take a d!azapan in morning. He is on 3 a day so was having them morning, afternoon and night-time, but will squeeze that up to lunchtime, teatime, night-time and see how that goes

And I managed to get that urine sample from Bonnie. I took the other two out for their full walk, and then, as usual, took Bonnie for her short walk. She always has a wee on the edge of the grass area just outside our's, so I was ready with the lid of an ice cream tub to cover a larger area and then poured this into the sample bottle. Threw the lid in the bin straight away, but had to pop back inside to rinse outside of bottle and wash my hands  but at leaast I've got a good sample and can drop that in to them tomorrow morning. Anyone know if I should keep this in the fridge or not :o inside a bag of course

I was really tired so went to bed for an hour around 4.30 pm and woke up ...... 8.30 pm  Luckily we were having salmon/king prawn stirfry with noodles for dinner so it didn't take long to cook and was fairly light to eat, as Mr 3dogs went back to bed soon afterwards. Oh, and I had a lovely chat to Steve on the phone just as I was finishing eating dinner :j

dinner looks lovely 3Dogs, think we might have stir fry tonight. poor Mr 3Dogs, I can understand how upset he was about Bonnie. Hopefully it will not be anything major, and something the vet can fix with a few tablets.

Just checking in before I take the doggies for their walks and then I will be popping into town to take sample to vets and Mr T's for a few things. It's lovely and sunny here but I'll still be wrapping up for my walk ;)

Well, the vet says no infection so Bonnie is now on meds for age related incontinence - 0.1 ml by dropper in side of mouth three times a day. I gave her some just before and she didn't like me doing it so has gone to join Mr 3dogs in bed ...... in a huff ;)

Mr 3Dogs managed to speak to neighbour today who confirmed that he had taken Bruce to vets on Tuesday morning and vet agreed that it would be best and the right thing to do to have him put down, so he did. He thanked me for my offer to take Bruce in, but was glad that he'd done so himself. He is very upset and could hardly talk about it, and is missing Bruce terribly, but other dog Mitzy has settled after searching all over for Bruce for 24 hours or so

Not done a lot today, other than walking dogs, popping to vets, and calling into Mr T on my way back. Mr 3Dogs has been up twice today, to eat, and within an hour, he's back to bed :(:(

Oh, my Big Sis rang me tonight. They are going to move Mam to another room at the far end of the corridor tomorrow as they have had complaints about her shouting. My brother told them he wasn't happy about it and Sis told them she was very unhappy as Mam may be ignored a bit out on her own at the end of the corridor, with no-one even passing by, but nurse said that she would make sure they get her up every day and take her to dining room to eat, etc. My Sis told her that she was horrified that anyone had complained as, in the 15 months Mam had been in there, so many other patients had disturbed her, and us, with their shouting, wandering, etc and we would never have dreamt of complaining about them  She made it clear to them we are not happy, though we can not obviously stop them from moving her :(:(

Was just thinking about your mum earlier funnily enough.

Aldi have these halogen ovens on offer soon.
Are they similar to slow cookers?
I take it they cost less to run than a traditional cooker?
