  • just got my call too! asked if they were entitled to do that with in the terms and conditions and she quoted that it states they have up to 7 days to confirm the mistake to you.....i think maybe that is why they are calling so no one can say they wasnt notified of the mistake....whats the chance of avoiding their call (caller id withheld no) for a week and any other correspondence...where would they stand then....has anyone actually made out they already booked flights....how did they respond....ah well move on to the next one....
  • My better half has just received the telephone call.
What to do now though? Just a refund is a little poor.

  • Just had a call from them.

Very nice lady apologising for having to break bad news to me that due to a systems problem over the weekend, the costing was incorrect & therefore, within their T&C they are giving me the option of either refund or I could rebook at full price!

I was quiet for a few seconds, and then said I was extremely disappointed, especially as my husband had booked flights today (he hasn't, thank God!) costing £884 and what could they do for me, I also said that there was a problem with their T&C on the web-site which there was on Saturday.
I asked that she refer this to someone else as I would hope that as a gesture of goodwill, they would at least be able to offer me some sort of compensation/discount, she put me on hold for a further minute, but then came back & said NO!

I asked for their ABTA NO. and she gave me P2201

It's just annoying that apparently someone else rang them on the day & was told it would be honoured!

That is not a correct ABTA number. You can search ABTA numbers on the ABTA website and that one is not recognised.
