Thomsoncruise 7 nights for £30pp

FROM Scoobee ON HOTUKDEALS

Browsing this last night and came across a 7 night cruise for £30. (NOTE: This doesnt include flights)
Just click on "cabin only" then search in April 2007. the one for £30 are the red sea cruises. Don't know if its a mistake on the site but it shows full price as £549 or £599 and a discount of £519 and £569 to make them both £30.
Find your own flights, there must be some cheap flights to Sharm el Sheik.

http://www.xl.co.uk fly to Sharm. We went for Christmas and paid £250 (return) each for our flights (and Christmas is meant to be the most expensive time of year to holiday). I think you should be able to get something better than £600, especially at that time of year.

http://www.ba.co.uk, also fly to Sharm but they were a bit more expensive - worth a try tho.

  • If its 3 people going it ends up being -£1??. ?? so effectively they are paying you to go on this cruise

However when you come to book it - it says they are having problems and you need to phone.

Booking 2 adults is working though at £60 for the 2

    Just checking some flights now

    for the 12/4 - 19/4 cruise, XL do flights on 11/4 & 21/4 for £254 from Gatwick

Seems a mistake from Thomson though, more like the £30 should be the reduction, don't think i'd book flights elsewhere on the strength of it

Bear in mind that embarkation is between 12-9pm on 12 April. Landing at Sharm at 5.10pm should give you plenty of time to get to the ship in time. BUT...... God forbid if you get delayed - the ship will leave. Chance you take I suppose - but hotels are v. good (stick to the American chains and you won't go wrong) and reasonably priced in Sharm so a week on the beach on the Red Sea would be a decent replacement.

Wished we hadn't booked to go away in May to Turkey - I would take this up like a shot!

PS: Flight example is with xl.com

For £30, I'd walk there - still considering it too.
The atmosphere is currently filled with hypocrisy so thick that it could be sliced, wrapped, and sold in supermarkets for a decent price and labeled, 'Wholegrain Left-Wing, Middle-Class, Politically-Correct Organic Hypocrisy'.

XL seem to take Clubcard vouchers, that's handy. Would be handier still if Tesco can change our MFI vouchers back into XL ones. :)

We've booked from 5th, I knew the 12th would have been easier and cheaper for flights, but it has to be the 5th because of school holidays and work responsibilities.
