which survery sites and adult phone line jobs?

Hi since I am stuck at home unable to get a "proper" job Im looking for ways to get money in! I have signed up to do !!!!!!!!, currently selling everything I can on Ebay, and my other 2 ideas are
surveys sites-which ones are best?
working as an adult phone line operator-I am not shy nor prudish and thought it could be something easy to do, but again not sure where to go to find jobs in that area!!
Any help or advice?

I have seen many of these type adverts in my local paper, I once rung up last year I think it was, pay is not to good something like 12p per minute (out of the £1.50 per min client pays)... I am interested in this myself, as I feel I may leave my jobs due to health reasons.. And working from home, picking your own hours etc would be ideal..

I been looking into setting my own up, so I can cut out the middle man, but have no idea how too, anyone have any ideas?

if you're interested in doing adult phone work, google is your friend - there's a lot of forums out there specifically about the subject which will give you a better insight into what the job entails and which companies to work for/avoid. Have done it myself and no the pay isn't great, but I worked with a company where I chose and worked my own hours, so appreciated the flexibility.

In terms of an adult chat line or sex texting, have a look at adultwork.com

All girls work for themselves with their own phones but the site takes a chunk. Looking at the feedback ratings on some girls, I think the site must generate a massive amount of traffic.

Possibly a cheap way of setting up without faffing about with premium lines etc.

I've done the chat line work and lasted for 4 weeks.

It was supposed to be a min of 20 hours p.w. with 1 shift having to be midnight-6am - the rest of the hours could be whenever I wanted to log on.

Everything was fine for the 1st couple of days - apart from the strange calls! :eek: - and then the office started bombarding me with requests to work set hours.

Supervisors have to have a min number of operators on their shift and will fight each other to get you to agree to work during their shift.

If I agreed to work til 3pm and I had to log off 5 mins early for whatever reason, I would get a nasty call telling me to get back on.

Got to the point where I felt like Victorian prostitute being made to work 23 hour days.

My mate has been doing this for 6 months now and she feels trapped - she's applied for other jobs but nothing's happening.

In order for her to make some money - she gets 12p per min - she is logged on virtually all day/night - and sometimes she doesn't get a call for 1-2 hours, but still has to be logged on so she can't go out to go shopping.

So my advice would be to forget it if you are looking for something permanent, but it's ok if you want a bit of pin money for Xmas.

Assuming you billed every minute of the hour at 12p which is incredibly unlikely, you're going to earn £7.20 an hour which is so-so. My suggestion would be to use your time more productively and find something more profitable.

Do you have any suggestions of more profitable things?
health problems mean quite often Im unable to even leave my home, so a regular job is almost impossible. Even if I could work it wouldnt be much more than NMW so £7.20 per hour is more than working at a check out in Asda etc! So any ideas as to what other kinds of work I can do within the limitations would be appreciated!

Thanks for all the advice, have contacted a couple of the companies reccomended, one have said they want somone more flexible (I can only do evenings as I have young children at home all day). Not only that but while I like to think Im gobby and laid back, I just dont know how Id manage if I got anyone really really kinky! lol xx

There are endless possibilities for ways to earn some cash without even stepping out the door.

I can't give you an exact path obviously but I can tell you that it's certainly not going to be survey sites, pay to click, etc.

I'm a huge fan of freelancing websites so maybe take a look at some of those.

My career background is sales and visual merchandising, not really something I can freelance. I might be missing something so I genuinely appreciate any guidance!
