Hi,
I am an intermediate horse rider and would like to go on a holiday somewhere in europe before christmas this year. I am after a fast-track (4-5 days) course to improve my skills & possibly including boarding at the same place stable.
Since riding is expensive in the uk and I would also get a chance to explore a new culture got this plan in my mind. Has anyone done anything like this before ?
Hope I havent posted this in a wrong forum..

Hi, I have been to Scottish Equi in Lanark, Scotland. They are excellent. Accomodation is superb as is the stables. They cater for al stages and ages. https://www.scottishequestrianhotel.com0

My partner has just flown out to Menorca for a 6-day riding holiday with Equiberia.
She goes 2-3 times a year to different locations in Spain but always with Equiberia. She has a fantastic time and Maria-Elena, the owner of Equiberia, is very accommodating and speaks excellent English.0 -
thanks for this information i think i have just resolved my birthday/xmas present for the missus, who has really got into horse riding this year
I looked at http://www.horseridingbulgaria.com/ a few years ago, but its more summer orientated the 3/4 day trip looks good and reasonably priced 360euros (4* B&B plus picnic lunch.)
I wouldn't recommend iceland this time of year, i have never been as cold as sat on a little icelandic horse in march (windchill -25)
i did a days ride in the hills above bariloche, argentina a few years back and felt like a cowboy, mountains, turquoise boulder rivers and sunny.
quite possibly the best day of my life.. 20 us dollars for 6/8 hours ride plus steak bbq lunch with too much red wine and including transport0
