Have you checked the grabbit board for the things you want? I've gotten all my main presents half price or better from there. And I finished xmas shopping last month for this year

I buy stuff as I see it through out the year but I do pop into the shops in the January sales for stuff for next year. But then, thats if I'm buying general things and not really for specific presents.
If its specific, I'd start looking out for it from around September and get it as soon as I saw it for a decent price.0 -
I'dpersonally get the kindle now as i have a feeling that will be a little harder to get nearer xmas - think my mums gettingone for my dad actually lol
With the ghd's i'd be inclinedto wait, they do bringout seasonal gifts where you can get free gift, either hair serum, or brush, or heat pad etc, and these are readily available from lots of hairdressers, unless it was a specifit style/colour you were wanting.
If you did buy something and it was reduced you could always buy the reduced price and return the original item at the higher price, provided it was within time for returns, usually around four weeks (but sometimes places extend their return policy for xmas gifts).
