ICESAVE Problem/Question

Have been trying to get through to ICESAVE on the phone now for two days, no luck either always engaged or I get put on hold but give up after an 1hr waiting. When ING went live they never had this problem

Anyway I transferred a large amount into my ICESAVE account on Friday 12th jAN, when I login to the site it shows the amount as processed on the 18th Jan, the avaliable balance on the top of the screen includes the amount I transfered, but the amount at the bottom 'Balance Avaliable for withdrawels' doesnt. Is the normal with ICESAVE when can I expect to withdraw on it, dont want to do it now but just need to understand the time scale ?

ICESAVE should get somemore call centre staff imo :money:
they say 'may be waiting up to 20mins, but pencil in an hour !'

I have been trying for "up to 20 minutes " for a week now!
This is to get my account unlocked.
I emailed them to ask that way, threatening to close the account if i ever do get it activated. the reply was emails take 15 days to process!!!!

See the terms and conditions, item 5b, here.

Funds are not available for withdrawal for 7 working days, ostensibly because of the DD guarantee.

Cheers. Is that 7 days from when it was 'processed', and is this in addition to the 3-4 days it takes them to pull the £, so effectively 10-11days in total till I can withdraw the cash out again ? I take it though they pay interest from the day they recieve it not from when avaliable for withdrawel ?

    See condition 3u.
  • I am also trying to call them for a week. Must have tried at least 6-7 time with duration of 10-20 minutes each. I must have already spent my 3-4 pounds. Just wondering how much money they would be making daily just on waiting calls. No wonder they are able to provide high rates.
